Ba-BEE Shower

YOURE INVITED TO A (babyless) BA-BEE SHOWER 🐝☺️🍯🐻 Before you ask, neither of the Howell women are with child😂 But we both LOVE daisies, bumble bees and Winnie the Pooh! Stay tuned this week for a shower that’s as sweet as honey! 🍯🐻 Tomorrow we’re going to give y’all a closer look at the cutest cupcakes ever!!! Along with a full buffet of baby shower food that all has a touch of honey! 😋 👀

BRB just napping in the daisies 🌼☺️ . Fun fact did you know that my mom almost named me BEATRICE?! She said everyone she knew named Bea was happy, so they decided to name me ShelBY ☺️ I’m so glad they decided against Beatrice!😂

All of the recipes we used this week had honey in them! They were perfect for our shower but they’d also make a perfect anytime meal☺️🐝🍯 Garden Salad with Honey/Lemon Vinaigrette and Honey Pecans & Spicy Honey Mustard Chicken Salad. YUM!! 😋

Spicy Honey Mustard Chicken Salad 1- rotisserie chicken deboned and cut in bite size pieces 1/2 cup celery 1 cup grapes-cut in half

Combine and set aside.

Honey Mustard Dressing 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard 3 Tablespoons honey 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper Salt and pepper to taste Toss chicken mixture with dressing. Additional mayonnaise may be added if mixture seems to dry. Cut bread into hexagon shapes and put a generous scoop of chicken salad on bread to make a sandwich. Arrange sandwiches on a tray to look like a bee hive. .

Garden Salad with Honey/Lemon Vinaigrette and Honey Pecans

4-6 cups of salad greens 1 grapefruit peeled and cut in bite size pieces 1 cup of dried cranberries 1/2 cup feta cheese 1 Granny Smith apple - peeled and cut in pieces

Honey/Lemon Vinaigrette 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Dijon mustard 2 Tablespoons honey 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Salt and pepper to taste. Honey Pecans 1 cup pecans 2 tablespoons honey 1 Tablespoon butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and add honey in a sauce pan. In a bowl toss pecans with mixture. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes
